Congratulations to Shaun Alexander. Just like he did for Bama during the '99 season he's carried the load for Seattle and truly deserves this. Selfishly I hope Seattle cuts him loose after the season is over and he signs with Pittsburgh. I don't know about salary cap issues and all that (one more reason I prefer college ball), but if Bettis decides to retire Alexander would go along way towards continuing the power running tradition. Fingers crossed.
