I say turnabout's fair play. The GOP is due for a comeuppance after 12 years of parlaying an ideology to the right of Atilla into national policy.
But that won't happen this year -- gaining 21 seats while keeping your own in this incumbent-safe environment is on the level of Miles College putting the paddle to Ohio State.
hack - i was just posting the headline because it's one of those "state the obvious" things, like "prospective democratic chairs all liberal? no kidding!"
Well, there are some leading moderates, but the party seems to want to promote the shrills into the leadership. I almost fell on my sword when Howard Dean was elected party chairman -- it's tough to watch a slow-motion train wreck.
